So your SOLUTION is to expand the problem so it becomes EVERYONE's problem? That is ridiculous.
If you had read the whole thing, you would have known that I am opposed because this solution does not make practical sense, nor does it clear the backlog. I have also offered a lot of other avenues that can be pursued that do not cause the problems that this bill causes. Even simply exempting dependents from the caps without removing the caps would clear the backlog faster than this bill does as it effectively doubles the number of green cards, and people in the backlog would use the majority of those because of the large number of unused green cards (as they already do). Plus, it really does "no-harm" (as opposed to the nonsense this bill calls "no-harm"), does not block nurses, does not scare away international students, etc. If you really want to solve the backlog problem you would support it; if you just want to see others suffer same as you have, I am just sorry for you.
Go read buddy, go read.
